Why Glad You Asked exists

A moment I never wanted to repeat.

I once talked with a retired investor who told me that only after taking his required minimum distribution from his IRA did he realize he could have given that money to charity tax-free. He was already donating from his bank account, which wasn't tax-efficient.

I never wanted to hear that again. I created Glad You Asked so investors can build a stronger grasp of financial concepts, understand how legislation and other changes could impact them or their families, and make smarter choices, including how to travel and actually enjoy the time while you're there.

My goal is to help lead a mindset shift: your financial advisor isn’t only there to focus on how much money you can live on, but to help you gain the confidence and understanding needed to live a more fulfilling life in retirement.
